Ms. Sharma is a Law Graduate as well as a Science Graduate (Chemistry) from Delhi University. She is the Senior most member of the Firm as she has been a part of it since past 13 years. Initially she started her career with trademark prosecution and thereafter; expanded to the IP litigation practice. Her forte has expanded to complex patent litigation in Bio-tech, Pharma and Chemicals sector. She has handled various high profile cases in the field of Patents, Biologics/Biosimilars, Data protection, Designs and trademarks. Ms. Sharma is an active member of INTA & APAA and has also been elected as an Executive member of AIPPI for Indian Group.

Sudeep Chatterjee obtained his law degree from Lucknow University in 2000 and also has done master’s in software development and software engineering. He handles all infringement matters relating to copyright and trademarks and domain-related issues including filing of UDRP complaints. He has handled various high profile cases in the field of Copyright, Trademarks, Data protection, anti-counterfeiting and UDRP.
He was also a part of the Parliamentary Standing Committees which was constituted to look into the Copyright Amendment Bill, 2010. He is the Secretary of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (Indian group) and is also a member of the association’s copyright committee besides being a Council Member of APAA. He is also a member of the INTA non-traditional marks committee (2016 – 2017) and has been selected for INTA Copyright Committee (2018 – 2019). He is also a part of INTA - India Global Advisory Council. He regularly conducts Civil and Criminal raids vis-à-vis Anti-Counterfeiting. In the year 2015 he was awarded “Rising Star below 40” by Legal Era. WIPR has recognized him as “Leaders in Trademarks” for the years 2016 & 2017 while “Chambers & Partners” has ranked him as “Band 3 Intellectual Property Litigation Lawyer in India” for 2017 & 2018.
Patent - (Prosecution & Litigation), Competition
She is a graduate from Delhi University with a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Physics. She completed her law from Delhi University and graduated in 2007. She has also done post graduate diploma courses in IPR law and Securities and Banking Laws. She heads one of the patent litigation team which primarily deals with the patent litigation and has handled various landmark cases. She has extensiveexperience in relation to disputes pertaining to the field of Standard Essential Patents. She has also experience of negotiating and executing FRAND licensing deal on behalf SEP owners.

He obtained his Law Degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in the year 2004 and has been practicing in the field of Telecom & Broadcasting laws since then. He has vast experience of being involved litigations regarding various spectrum of law including IPR. He expertise in law relating to Content Regulation and other Regulatory aspects regarding Broadcasting & Telecom Sectors. He regularly conducts Civil and Criminal raids vis-à-vis Anti-Counterfeiting including Custom Recordals and has vast experience in relation to Arbitration & Constitutional Law. Upender Thakur completed his Law from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2006. Upender has done his graduation in BA from DAV College Chandigarh. He has been practicing since 2006 in various Courts including Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal, District courts, etc. He is an active member of Telecom Lawyers Association and also that of Delhi High Court Bar Association, and further, is also an active member of the Legal Aid Society of Delhi High Court. Upender Joined Singh & Singh in January 2012 and is currently handling Broadcasting and Cable Law Issues and IPR matters before TDSAT and other forums
Archana Sahadeva is a graduate of the University of Osmania and holds a Master in Business Laws (MBL) degree from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. Archana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics (Hons.) from Delhi University. She is also an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India. She was admitted to the Bar in 2007, joined the Firm in the same year and is currently the Associate Partner in the Firm. While her special expertise is Intellectual Property Litigation, her other fields of practice include Pharma Regulatory, Corporate, General Litigation etc.
Ashutosh Kumar is working with the firm as an Associate Partner and he hold bachelor’s degrees in business administration and law. He has also done Masters in the field of Intellectual Property Laws from University College London, London where along with other branches of IP Law, he specialized in the field of Patent Law as well as in Competition Law and IP interface. He has joined the firm in 2012. His work profile includes Patent and Competition Law Litigation. He has worked on various highly contentious cases pertaining to the field of patents as well as competition laws which include amongst others Novartis vs. Union of India and Ericsson vs Competition Commission of India.
Anusuya Nigam is a graduate of ILS Law College, Pune University and completed her LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the George Washington University. She joined the firm in 2011, specializing in Intellectual Property Litigation. After having worked with the firm until 2015, she gained experience as an independent IP practitioner, and also handled the IP portfolio of a leading full-service litigation firm in Delhi. Thereafter, she returned to the firm in 2018 and is handling Patent and Trademark Litigation and Advisory matters. She practices before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, various District Courts and Tribunals.
She has completed her Bachelor of Technology in the field of biotechnology from Uttar Pradesh Technology University in 2007. She has also done Post Graduate Diploma course in Intellectual Property Rights from Global Institute of Intellectual Property in 2010. She has qualified the Indian Patent Agent Examination in 2011. Before joining Singh & Singh in April 2012, she used to work for a Delhi based Law Firm. Her work profile includes Patent Prosecution, Patent Opposition and Revocation and Patent Litigation. She is also involved in prosecution matters before Patent Office and litigation matters before the Intellectual Property Appellate Board, various High Courts as well as Supreme Court of India.
Jaya completed her graduation in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2009. She completed her LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2013. She was admitted to the Bar in 2013 and joined the firm in the same year. Jaya specializes in Intellectual Property Litigation and is practicing before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, various District Courts and Tribunals.
Mohit Wadhwa completed Law from ILS Law College, University of Pune in 2006. He was admitted to the bar in 2006. Before joining Singh & Singh Law Firm LLP, in April 2017, he used to work for a Delhi based Law firms. He is currently the Senior Associate in the Firm. His work profile includes Trademark Prosecution, Trademark Opposition, Trademark Rectification before Trade Marks Office & Intellectual Property Appellate Board and Copyright Prosecution.
Vivek is Alumni of prestigious NIT Punjab and IIT Kharagpur. He is involved in the litigation portfolio of the firm and is particularly involved Patent, Trademarks, and Drug Regulatory issues. He also has wide experience in Patent drafting, Patent prosecution and other contagious proceedings like revocation, compulsory licensing and pre grant/post-grant oppositions. Vivek has deep interest in Constitutional Law and Law and Economics. He has several research/review papers to his credit. He also speaks at different seminars and consortium organized by various academic institutions like IITs, NITs, NLS, and other central universities on topics touchin upon the intellectual property and constitutionality of laws.
Adithya Jayaraj is a graduate from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. After completion of his LL.B he did a short stint at Thomson Reuters, Legal Management Services in the Contract Drafting Team. At present, Adithya is working with the Patent Litigation team and has handled litigation dealing with competition law, pharmaceuticals and technical patents. He is actively involved in all tdrihe pending Ericsson litigation.
Aishwarya completed her graduation in Philosophy from University of Delhi in 2014 and thereafter obtained her law degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2017. She is author of the book "The Unheard Predicament: Social and Legal Perspective on Women and Child Rights in India." She was admitted to the bar in 2017.
Arushi Lohia has pursued BBA LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and graduated in the year 2017. During the course of her graduation she participated in various Moot Court Competitions based upon a wide array of legal subjects. She has completed internship programs under in-house teams and at various law firms. She joined Singh & Singh after the completion of her graduation and is a part of the Trademarks Prosecution team.
Deepshikha is a patent agent and attorney-at-law engaged in Intellectual Property prosecution and litigation matters at the firm since September 2016. She has an honours degree in Microbiology as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Delhi. In 2016, she completed her Master’s degree in Law, specializing in Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Law and Media & Privacy Laws, from the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Commonwealth Scholar. She also has litigation experience in the United Kingdom as a Pegasus Scholar at the Honorable Society of the Inner Temple, U.K.
Devanshu completed his engineering in the field of Information Technology and then went onto pursue his LL.B. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Devanshu has closely worked with the Think Tank which was entrusted with the task of drafting India’s first National IPR policy. Devanshu is also a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Intellectual Property Office. Before commencing work at Singh & Singh, Devanshu worked in the chambers of Mrs. Prathiba M. Singh, Senior Advocate for two years. He was also appointed as a facilitator by the Government of India under the Start-UPs Intellectual Property Protection(SIPP) Scheme. He has also assisted various departments of the Government on critical issues such as guidelines relating to ‘Patentability of Computer Related Inventions’. Devanshu is currently part of the Patent Litigation team and has actively worked on matters involving Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and pharmaceutical patents.
Drishti completed her B.A. LLB. (Hons.) from Amity University, Noida and was admitted in the Bar in the year 2015. She has worked previously in the fields of Civil Ligation and Dispute Resolution across all courts in New Delhi. She is currently working as an Associate the litigation team in Singh and Singh LLP.
Isha Tyagi is a practicing advocate in litigation and IPR prosecution. She is 2016 law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Noida. Isha has been significantly involved in social welfare and was the Co-Chairperson, Student Section of Indian National Bar association for three years. Additionally, she has done several IP and legal courses from FICCI and MyLaw.net.
Karnika Kanwar has an honours degree in Intellectual Property Rights as well as a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Currently, Karnika is part of the Patent Litigation team and is involved in various litigation cases relating to Competition Law, Standard Essential Patent(s) and pharmaceutical patent(s).
Kunal completed his B.A., L.L.B from C.C.S University, Meerut in the year 2014. He has been associated with the firm since 2014 and is currently handling the Telecom and Broadcasting disputes. He also has 2 years experience in Criminal Law and matrimonial disputes.
Lakshay Kaushik completed B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from Amity Law School, Noida in 2015. He has worked previously in the fields of Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Dispute Resolution across all courts in New Delhi. He is currently working as an Associate at Singh and Singh LLP and is actively involved in litigation and advisory work with respect to Patents, Design and Trademarks.
Mansee Teotia completed her B.Tech. from University School of Biotechnology, Indraprastha University. Thereafter, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Law (Hons in IP) from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property, IIT Kharagpur. She is a registered Indian Patent Agent. Previously, she was associated with a leading automobiles component manufacturer company as an IP Counsel. She is presently working as an Associate at Singh and Singh. The work profile of Mansee includes Patents and Trademarks related works which mainly involves Litigation and Prosecution in both.
Navjyot did his graduation in Civil Engineering from Thapar University in 2013. He then completed LL.B in 2017 from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. And, in the same year he was admitted to the bar and has recently joined Singh & Singh. He presently dealing with a matters in the area of Trademark.
Nikhil Chawla has completed his engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida after which he went on to pursue LL.B from Campus Law Centre-Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. In July 2015, having joined the Bar, Nikhil worked as a Legal Researcher at Delhi High Court with Justice J.R. Midha. Thereafter, in March 2016, he joined Singh and Singh Law firm LLP and is currently working in the patent litigation team at the firm. He has been part a variety of matters primarily relating to IP litigation (enforcement of litigation involving infringement of Standard Essential Patents, pharmaceutical patent, trademark, media and copyright law), Competition Law, and Drug Regulatory laws, etc.
Nikhil Lal pursued his B.A.LLB from Jindal Global Law School and graduated in the year 2016. As part of his college life he took part in various debate competitions and interned with independent practitioners and Law Firms specializing in Civil Litigation. He has been working with Singh and Singh since the year 2016 and is working on matters related to Trademarks, Copyright, Contracts etc.

She has been practicing since 2013 in various Courts including Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal, District courts, etc. Before joining Singh & Singh, Nikhita worked in the chambers of Mrs. Prathiba M. Singh, Senior Advocate for over a year. She joined Singh and Singh in 2017 and is dealing with a variety of matters in the areas of Broadcasting, Telecom and IPR before the TDSAT and High Court of Delhi.
Nitya Sharma completed her B.Tech and M.Tech in Biotechnology from Amity University in 2014. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Biotechnology. She has worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ‘NRDC – Innovation Facilitation Centre’, a project by NRDC, DSIR, GoI from 2014-2016. She has authored research papers in the field of Biotechnology and IP. She has been working in the Patent litigation and prosecution since August, 2016.
Nupur completed her graduation in Journalism (Hons.) from Delhi University. She has a post-graduate degree in LL.B from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She started her legal career as a Law Researcher with the Hon’ble Judges at the Delhi High Court. She has over 3 years of work experience in the practice of law at various forums including Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, District Courts and Tribunals. Her areas of practice include Intellectual Property (litigation and prosecution) and other facets of civil and criminal law.
Palak is a law graduate from Jindal Global Law School from the BA.LLB (Hons.) batch of 2016, with a specialization in Intellectual Property. She is currently working with the Trade Marks prosecution and opposition team at Singh & Singh. She has a penchant for media and entertainment law, and has authored pieces on music copyright, copyright exceptions for visually impaired and patent pricing.
Prateek Sehrawat is a practicing attorney and assists clients in patent enforcement, protection and dispute resolution in various fields such as telecommunications, mechanical, pharmaceuticals, etc. Prateek graduated Bachelors in Law (LL.B.) from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2013 and Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.), Computer Science & Engineering from M.R.C.E., Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2010. Prateek joined the litigation team of Singh and Singh Law Firm LLP in August, 2017.

Raei is a post graduate and also completed Masters in IPR from Gujarat National Law University in 2012. She has nearly 5 years of work experience in Trademark Prosecution. Before joining Singh and Singh, she was a part of an in-house legal team of an eminent publishing house & has also worked with Y. J. Trivedi & Co. and with Zeus IP Advocates. She is working as an Associate under Mr. Sudeep Chatterjee’s trademark prosecution and opposition team.
Rohan Swarup completed his graduation and law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi in 2014. He joined Singh and Singh in 2014 and is dealing with a variety of matters in the areas of Telecom, Broadcasting, Arbitration, IPR and Consumer Protection before the Supreme Court, High Court of Delhi, TDSAT and National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

Saksham Garg is a practicing attorney with an experience of 1 year in in Patent Drafting, Prosecution and Analysis with R.K. Dewan & Company. Prior to that Saksham was associated with R.L. Bhagat & Associates, practicing in all aspects of Civil Litigation and Arbitration for a period of 2 years.
